In high school I saw some movie or show or something where I was left thinking we should try to mine the moon. The girl I was talking to about it was dead set that we should leave the moon alone. Just some pseudo pegan ideological reasoning that it is morally wrong for man to expand any further. And that somehow we will harm the dead bodies that surround the earth.
Imagine the add campaign. A martian is looking over a valley on mars with pride. Then, a cut back to the same valley now covered with litter (coke cans and candy wrappers and such), now cut back to the martian close up, single tear roles down solemn check. Fade to Black.
