I like the update myself...I guess you could do more but I've no idea which way I'd go. I'd say a done image were it mine.

In the last post, the first two are great. I just wish the model of the house ruin were more complex. The straight lines in the closeup (first image) ruin the realism. It is much less noticeable in the second one. Love the views.

I agree with otakar. The first image is my favorite other than that issue though. A great sense of depth, which is something you do really well (and many other people don't).

It really is a bit of a pity about the model of the ruin.
But the sense of depth is really good :)

I have been thinking about this "ruin" for a few days. I am wondering if a null function could be used, merging with the default image color, and routing in a power fractal displace. I am trying this method now on a statue, PF texture and color only. I have a "perfect' castle I am going to try this on too. I believe I saw this method in the Materials library shares, "bronze eaten away" file by fleetwood.
