I tried the Terragen benchmark using AMD Ryzen 5 1600 X.
As a result, Ryzen 5 1600 X was able to complete the rendering one minute earlier than Intel Core i7 6700k. At $ 249 this performance is very phenomenal!!

If you make a full model change, it will cost nearly $ 750, but there is processing power corresponding to that.

sounds like my eventual upgrade will finally give me a TG worthy computer.

Yes, Ryzen is looking really, really good for TG rendering. Because TG makes good use of multithreading, and AMD has gone for many cores rather than super high clock speed, even the cheaper AMD CPUs like the Ryzen 5 series are performing really well in TG. Can't wait to see how Intel responds, and what AMD has in the future...
