Like it this way. Twilight sky and water is nice. Wonder if the lantern on the boat casting a localized light could be a way to reveal the figures.

yossam

I may have to turn the "orb" light up some more...........the boat is mapped as one object so no way to turn the lantern glass clear.

Cool scene, have you adjusted the Global Illumination in the Lights Tab?  If not I'd set it between 1.5 and 1.75. I often get good outcomes in that range.

I like this too. I think just a little reflected light on some parts (of the rock, e.g.) may be good, so I little more GI indeed, or a vague -45º no-shadow sun.
You could take the boat apart (wouldn't be hard at all if you have some modeling app), and separate the glass piece as a separate object.

Cool, moody and creepy! Great - a big Like!

Tried a little of everything..................finally came up with this.  :)

This is awesome! Many a story could be told from this image...

Hannes

Great image!!! Both surreal and realistic. It's hard to decide which image looks better. The second one is brighter, and you can see clearer, what's happening, but the mood of the first image is more mysterious.

DocCharly65

The first one is still my favorite :)

Dune

Actually hard to decide. I like both in their own merits.
