This isn't to diminish anyone else, since everyone here has been so helpful.  But, I want to be clear that at the beginning of this shindig when I first tried using TG2TP, old_blaggard and Oshyan treated me with great respect even though I didn't know what a node was.

Obviously, old_blaggard and Oshyan have made huge contributions to these forums, but I think that virtually everyone here has so far been really helpful and respectful. There's no reason not to be nice either - TG2 is simply amazing so far and very well designed, and everybody is new to it.

A timely thread as I've just read Harvey Birdman's[ another very helpful fellah ] update on smoothing trees

and it works a charm. I might add, to displace a bit for better results. I use a blurred grayscale24bit .bmp for the displace channel
Helping each other out goes to the very heart of the meaning of community and that's what we have here....kudos to all and sundry...keep them tips a comin'.. ..... ...

It's always nice to hear some appreciation, but I must say it is the community as a whole that really makes this place special and so incredibly useful to TG'ers. We have so many helpful people, and people just sharing their great art, no matter where you turn you see instruction, advice, and inspiration. It's all because of you guys.
