Hi.
Just a quick newbie question...Is there a way to limit a rock population to an altitude range?

Sure is. Go to your rock population and check the "Use density shader" box. Then click the "+"and either select "Assign shader" or "Create shader". If you create a new shader, just follow the menu yo "Colour shader" then "Distribution shader v4". Then click the same "+" again and select "Go to distribution shader 4 xx" and you will see many controls -- min and max slope and altitude are two options.

Aaaaahhhhh! Thank you, sir. I was in the right neighborhood, but had gotten lost in the "shaderland" menus.
Much obliged,
Have a great day!
