Masking clouds layer

Hi there,
I am try to mask my cloud layer from the horizon toward the camera with no success using distance shader.
I just want to render a strip of clouds on the horizon as I am using a for cloud layer for the middle ground.
What should I use and where do I plug it.

Working example is attached. You can disable Clamp Far Colour if you want a stronger effect. Perhaps you neglected to connect a Camera?
