When saving a clip file including a node renamed to a name including an &, tg (the newest deep update) goes into a non responding state.

I think this bug has been around for quite a while and is probably related to generally incomplete character handling in TG2, e.g. in paths to textures and other files, etc. These things should be cleaned up for launch, if not sooner.

If it doesn't get fixed, at least the error message should be improved. :) The old version said very clear, where the problem lies. The new message from the new error/warning handling system doesn't provide any information.

Yes, the error messages aren't fully hooked up in the new error manager, but that will definitely be improved.

Would it be possible (At some point in the future, development time permitting) to have an option on the error message (Should one be generated) for direct error reporting to some sort of server dedicated to that purpose as it might save people having to report here, though that is always still an option.

Something like this might be possible but given Planetside's size and the nature of Terragen as a program I don't think it would be all that useful. It's usually important to get context, sometimes source files, and a discussion with the person creating the scene is usually the most useful thing of all. So having someone come and report it here on the forums is pretty ideal. I haven't seen the automated error reporting systems really doing wonders for product stability either...
