Your stuff is great! I will explore your suggestions.

Don't get me wrong here, I have supported software and operating systems for over 20 years. I finally bite the bullet and purchase my Terragen license to make simple animations. BOOM Microsoft pulls the plug on moviemaker, removes it from my PC, all without my knowledge or permission in my opinion. So now I can do this in Blender, no problem. It is a little more complicated, but I CAN do it. I just did not need this change at this time thank you very much. Rant over. :)

Are you not running Win 10?...there's a new movie editing app in the latest update. Haven't checked it yet but should be at least as good as Movie maker.
I am running Win 10 ....I checked a few MS sites and what I see so far I have home edition 1703. maybe doesn't take this? I also see I have an update from 2/18 that failed to install about 15 times....New unit in my possession about a month now, so maybe I have not set stuff correctly yet.  I am just mad it deleted all my visual basic and frameworks on the old one....why???? I could have, I guess, reverted back to 7 or 8, but I still lost those files. It is like with a classic car...."oh...just find some junk yard and get a part for it." Not exactly what you always want to hear, haha.
