This was a not working project from 6 years ago with that i played today a little more.
With more work might be better.

The tree is the "The Noble One" from Jan Walter Schliep.
I don't remember the grass unfortunately.

Prefer the 2nd one.  :)

Dune

Yes, but the first one has a certain strength too. I would raise the overall sizes of the (interesting) hill displacements, though.

True but the sharp contrast throw me out from that.

A mix would be nice.

:D

The original of  01  was this one below. Not quite much to begin with unfortunately.
So the best look that i got was what i posted above with postwork.
I like it too actually. But too much blue light in it i think.
To get a better version i have to do more render tests.

The second one is nearly the same as the render. It looks more real to me.

I like the composition in general. I will play with them more later i think.
I am trying not to do it but my hand is itching to add ones again a science fiction flavour (maybe the alien plant objects i couldn't use since years from the VR project?).

These are something special, love the view! Hard to decide which version but both no. 1 and 2 have a certain mood that I really like.

Relaxing views. That could be a beautiful animation of a very peaceful sunrise scenery :)

Ahhh ahh...if my computer was a little faster i would make small animations from most of my scenes...good or bad...just for fun :)

Hannes

The first one is maybe a bit too much post processed as you said, but the second one is really great!!

I think the original suffers from under exposure on the camera end...would likely be quite nice with exposure notched up a bit...

# 2 on the redos works for me
something borrowed,
something Blue.
Ring out the Old.

Thanks. Yes i could play with exposure or with higher sun strength probably.
