I am posting some of the old ones that I havent shared them here yet!

the church model had more than 16 textures so I had to remove all of them and now it doesnt have anything on it....and I decided not to finish it untill more than 16 textures are supported.....

 Like the one with the bifg moon.  Nice POV etc. 

Obviously without seeing the original model I can't tell but couldn't you do some substitution and reduce to 16 basic materials?  I am having a similar problem with a Dalek (Don't ask).

I took at look at the version I have which I got from here

The model I got from the above site includes on 4 textures and they are NOT mapped onto the model. It just has 1 basic material.

Thanks for the link to the site above. Looks like some very sweet models there. Shame they're not all properly UV mapped but I think thats fixable.
