This is a frame from a project I was doing for a documentary on an island in the Pacific.  Comments and critiques appreciated :)

Nicely done, I like the low lying dawn cloud/fog over the ocean. Shame about the parallel lines to the top right and centre, don't know what causes that, maybe some form of fractal repetition. I guess it may disappear once animated (or get very flickery). Could be got rid of with multiple different scaled displacements, but you know this :). So this is going to be part of a flyby anim, wow, how long will it be; you must have some serious processing power (or a heck of a lot of time :) ) at your disposal. Look forward to the finished result and maybe some stages along the way.

I like it a lot. When you see this a morning in Norway you can almost be certain it will be a beautiful day. Almost every time when the fog is disappearing in the morning the weather changes to a clear blue sky. At least here in Bergen. I don't know why, but it's pretty cool.
