An old picture revisited by adding a "real rock" asset I did using photogrammetry (VisualFSM + Meshlab)

I liked that desert pic from the beginning. Nice again.

Though I have a bit the feeling that the rocks in the foreground have a slightly unnatural glow almost having a bit metallic look?
Nevertheless a great view!

Agree with Nils, I think they need to be toned more like the rest. And you instantly see they're 4 of the same. Maybe put in some different ones...

Thanks for your comments

For the moment I have scanned only one rock.. but I plan to make others in future ;-)

Here an alternate version after reduce by 50% texture diffuse

I really like this version,Ter2018_17.jpg more for the veg than the lovely rock scan. In all honesty the thing I most remember about a lot of your work is your treatment of vegetation...looks very real always.

Much better! :)
I could concentrate now better on the nice details of the ground. I like the cracks and the other subtleties! Great!

An awesome scene. I still think, the rock(s) should be even more (a bit!) tinted like the rest.

19 looks suburb with those ripples between rock crops.

Great work. Wish I had some good desert plants. Free ones I've found look way to cheesy.
