Purportedly, the GPU that did the Star Wars scene that WAS posted above has a list price of $60,000!
Here are some other interesting articles on it.

Their technical previews area usually always on their high end cards. They do note this technology is aimed to run "high performance on any combination of CPU and GPUs", where that obviously inherently implies modern probably, but doesn't seem to indicate it will be limited to a 60k GPU.
At the time same time developers that develop on high-end systems are often criticized. Bohemia Interactive has had a history of showcasing on Titan's and such while 98% of their users will get 20fps. Similar to the Forge Engine back in the day, people with top of the line consumer GPU's couldn't get the FPS they show in promotion. Heck, even with my RX 480 8GB Nitro+ I
still can't play my copy of Ark Survival. Cripples my CPU even boosted to 4.2ghz quad. I'm fairly certain that it, and conjunction with a small addiction to V3 clouds that cooked off my thermal paste last year.
Was rendering clouds all the time, and than tried playing that game a few times and crashed my CPU and eventually it was just dead from overheating. Lucky AMD tech is beast and thing was just fine, even with scorch marks. Lol
