Here is a test render of some wheat. I just finished making the models. I will post them on Ashunder and Terranuts.

nice pov although I would take the camera up a little if I were you.....atleast until the height of wheat....
I like the clouds too.....but pink atmosphere??.....looks kinda odd...but thats just me

Very nice looking models, quite useful. Looks like they need a lot of AA, but that's just how things go with thin/pointy stuff like grass.

I agree with Oshyan. I've been using AA of 10 on my foliage tests, which seems to work well, and I haven't really noticed a big hit on render times.

Thanks guys I will up the AA when I go for a final render. This one was mainly a test to see how well the model would look in a population.

Here is the next version of the grain field. I'm not totally happy but after 24 hours of rendering I thought I would still share.
I tried raising the camera a little and it turned out to be too much.
More to come.

The increased AA here is really useful. Since you can see so much sky, maybe you should put in some fantastic evening clouds
