Thought I'd post a couple of test frames of an animation I've been working on.

The car is rendered in Maya/Arnold and comped with the Terragen scene. It's been a long time in development and will probably take just as long to render. :)

Just got to work on some dust trails and hopefully get it rendered before summer.

Looks very natural. Hopefully you'll be able to post (a link to) the final animation. Good luck finishing this.

That looks very promising. Looking forward to see the final clip.

Oh yes - this will be very cool. The still shots look already very convincing!

Here's another test frame - it's starting to come together.
Still a lot of rendering to do though!

Rendering all the Terragen elements through Pixel Plow now, very impressed, seamless integration - upgrading to TG 4.4 Frontier really helped eke a lot more quality for the same render time. :)

Oshyan

Wow, that looks fantastic! Will we get to see the finished anim? :D

QuoteWill we get to see the finished anim?

Absolutely  :)

Pixel Plow will be finishing off the TG renders this week hopefully, and there's still a bunch of Maya renders to complete, and sound to do so I reckon another month.

Oshyan

Excellent. Is this for a client, or a personal project? Branding is pretty clear, but the long time line makes me wonder?

This is a personal project, started as a demo project for my Terraman script to develop Terragen/Maya integration.

Oshyan

Awesome, can't wait to see the end results. :)

Dune

Your scene looks awfully realistic. Can't wait either!

WAS

Motion blur always bring together a scene for realism.

Love the latest still, looks almost like a promotional image you'd see on a bus or billboard.

Very cool! Can't wait to see the whole thing. Two thumbs up man.
