Hey everyone, I just spent a week down at MIT doing their SPLASH program and took a class on making your own raytracer, and all I can say is looking at something like terragen I have new respect for Matt and Jo (and Oyshan if he codes) that stuff gets complicated real fast.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

After getting the one book Oshyan recommended, it was easy to see where Matt's talents lie and I was happy to lay aside my ambitions to get too much information.   ;D
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
