No spectacular render, but with a little story:

The Kuiper Belt Artifact

Accidentally discovered in 2065 due a gravitational anomaly by observing the outer, scattered Kuiper Belt, a sent out Deep Space Probe in 2090 found this:

At 81 AU from earth, a nearly 500 km (310 mi) big Kuiper Belt Object is circling around a perfectly rounded blueish Octahedron, with an edge length of approx. 1.6 m (5 ft) at a distance of about the earth's diameter!

This contradicts todays known physical laws... scientists have no explanation.

Artifact size:
unknown; the edge length of approx. 1.6 m (5 ft) cannot be determined exactly, the surface of the artifact seems to have a fractal texture and the measuring instruments cannot find a "solid" surface and fail because they somehow record "infinite" values.

Artifact composition:
unknown; perhaps some exotic matter or something like ,,solidified" gravitational energy...but there's no evidence for the needed mass to generate the measured gravitation field.

Artifact age:
unknown; Studies of the gravitational field and other parameters suggest that the Kuiper Belt object has been in a stable orbit around the artifact for several billion years. It could be older than the solar system itself.

Artifact purpose:
unknown; no activity detected, it emits or absorbs no radiation at all... Obviously something artificial... a high tech object, a piece of art, a weapon or a toy?

Artifact origin:
unknown
