Crop rendering

I've got a question. Perhaps this is just an error in the workflow, so I will not report it as a bug for now. I'd just like to hear out your opinion on the matter.

I have recently changed the resolution of an image, slightly reduced the MP detail and hit the render button. I used the GI cache file that I have generated in the old version of the file.

Later I joined two of the crops and, to my displeasement, found out that they differ from each other. Both comps had visible differences in shading on the line of hedge and underneath one of the window panes.

Do you think that these differences may result from resizing the image and changing the detail? Nothing else apart from this has been changed.

If this has no influence on the image shading, it looks like the GI cache is broken...

Well if you GI is cached for another sized image and viewport, I'd imagine this would cause issues between crops.
