Farmer in the Sky

A few months ago Dune was kind enough to give me his extra volume of xFrog plants  (From the NWDA Challenge) and I've had a field day with them.
Except for one population of short grass made in Blender, all the vegetation here comes from those volumes.
Wheel hoe, water basin, hand pump and wagon made in Blender.

Thanks all.  The POV is based on real life. When I was a kid I worked on a farm that was situated on one of the mountains surrounding the  Roanoke valley. It was a pretty common experience to be in the upper orchards  and not be able to see the city below because it was buried in a layer of fog. Long time ago....

Beautiful modeling and textures on the implements and water pump. And details like the tracks and erosion marks on the path. That's a beautiful area (I have family in the Roanoke area and have visited many times). Sounds like you have some good memories growing up there.

@sboerner :  thank you. And If you'r ever in Roanoke, drive out to the intersection of US RTs 419 and 221. There's a small mountain rising up in the distance. That's where the farm was at that I use to work on.

Guys, Hope you don't mind me doing this, but after my exchange with sboerner I went to google maps and found the Rt. 419/221 intersection mentioned earlier.  Looks like even after 49 years the mountain is still visible from the middle of the intersection.

Cool! I think 49 years ago no one would have thought of sitting in a room looking at a screen and finding almost any particular place in the world, where you can take a look around.

Great scene, Cam. Glad you put the XFrog trees to good use! Stewart asked me the other day if all did go well with the transfer, so I replied to him it did.

I would give the mud on the right a bit more clumpy bump, btw.
