Great. But I would get rid of that dark mountain in the left below corner, so the water is opening up.

Thanks all. Dune I'll try that it was there for a reason but looking again I might be able to remove it.

Just a simple shape masking a surface shader and set to smooth, after the mountains.

The mountain was a SSS but the two lots of water are different heights. I've just spent an hour fiddling but the best I can do doesn't change much and actually makes it worse. Oh well...

Ah, I see. You don't see the differences in height. The thing that bothered me was the stark contrast in the left down corner, attracting too much attention. I think it would even be more subtle if you'd fill it all up with land. Maybe hang some low veil of mist between the towers.
