Not in the Christmas theme, I'll have to work on my timing!  I've been working on this one for a few days now, and I think it's coming along pretty nicely.  CC welcome, I feel like this one has some good potential, and I'd like to polish it up.

Nice one, surely worth perfectioning. I'd move the tree on the right away, so you can see the water in the bend. Put something on the left to give it some light in that dark area, maybe even some blossoming shrub or small trees.

Perhaps a version with smaller rocks at the river bed.
