Surface Layer Smoothing Effect Possible Improvement

I notice if you use a surface layer that is masked with the smoothing effect, the fuzzy area will not be smoothed, like at all, almost all the way up to where it's solid. Currently, you can use another surface layer, with a harder mask, or large spread to somewhat fix this. But I suggest instead, we allow the Smoothing Effect slider to go over 1, and fill the fuzzy zones with more extreme effect. Similar to upping the "Coverage" of the surface layer, but it wouldn't affect colour/displacement of the surface layer, only the smoothing area. Say 1 is default behaviour, and 5 would "fill" any fuzzy zone of a mask to it's boundary (scalar 0).
