Thanks Hannes.

Now that you mentioned it, I guess you`re right about the miniture effect look. Didn`t realize that before.
It was really more or less trying out objects and DoF only, not really a planned scene I was after.
Here is the same scene without the Dof.
But, the miniature look is still there, I am afraid :o . The sense of size is kinda off somehow, I think.
I have to find a better point of view.

Btw.: on my computer the scene lags a lot. Every mouse click, value change etc is causing a interaction pause of 2-3 seconds.
It is no fun to work that scene this way. As soon as I enable the "dust" clouds, RAM fills up to 80-90 percent - which is rather strange.
Anyway, I think I am going to try something else with that scene some other time.

Way better, I'd say, Klaus. I guess what you mean by still having the miniature look is, that the background may look too close. Somehow a little bit more haze in the background might help to give the scene more depth.
