drone meets volcano

Haven't posted any images for a while, so here are some WIP stills from a tutorial video I'm making.
(The volcano is dormant for the moment till I figure out how to do some decent lava )

That is cool (until now).
Lava is possible, if you can use Daniil's plugin, and use the flows map. But this somehow looks like an imported crater, don't know why. It may nevertheless work.
And will you be giving the drone some blurred rotors?

Yes, motors will be motion-blurred in the final comp.
Ultimately planning to do the lava as a fluid sim, but that's a way off
