I just finished building my new computer a couple weeks ago.  Thought I'd post the specs for the heck of it:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
Nvidia 680i SLI LT Motherboard
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb Graphics Card
6gigs of RAM  8)
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit edition
All packed within a Thermaltake Armor Case
CPU is liquid cooled.  I've got a waterblock for the GPU in the mail.  My graphics card was getting up to 75C :o with the stock heat sink.

Logitek G9 wireless mouse
Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard
Crystalfontz 20x2 lcd screen on the front of the case.
5.1 surround sound
And an obnoxiously large mousepad  :D

This was all a really nice X-mas present for myself.   ;D

my hardware specs are similar....except I have core 2 duo and 4 GB of RAM!....and a 40" monitor ;)
820 GB of HDD
Thermaltake Tsunami Case
Thermaltake Water Cooling System
Thermaltake PSU
my RAM is running at 800 MHz....
Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard
Logitech VX Revolution Mouse

Someone hand me a Shot Gun so i can shoot my PC now.   :'(      ;D

Oshyan

I'm pretty much running on the same, except no water cooling (wasn't necessary), 8GB of RAM and a 320MB GTS instead of 640 - but most of the benchmarks are nearly identical between the two, surprisingly. I also built my machine for about $1500. ;D

ProjectX

Mine's similar to dhval, except I got dual LCD 21 inches, and not a 40inch (40 inch?! nice), and im running vista 32 bit, with a single 1TB hard-drive. Oh, and a 8800 GTX, and Creative X-Fi.

That's a seriously sweet setup there Orange and oshyan!

@dh - did you make yours or did you buy it?  If you bought it, where?

I render on my Ti-89 Titanium  :P
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

800 Mhz
Although I think I can overclock it a little, I've been having some problems overclocking the cpu too.

I've got a 19"wide and 19"standard setup with a monitor arm system.

Tangled-Universe

I also have a quad @ 2.4 GHz with 4GB DDR2-800 RAM, 1 TB storage and a 8600GTS 512MB (don't bother videocards, never play games, only watch HD-content).
Today I've done my first test-render with this system using 4 instances of TG2 to render one of my strata-images else on the forum.
On my old machine (AMD 2,2 GHz, 2GB DDR-400) it took 15 hours and on this new one only 1h15m!! Serious! :D ;D :P

I just bought a 28" 1920x1200 monitor, but considering upping to the 30" Gateway XHD3000.  Not sure yet though.
