Found out that the free tree software TreeIt exports very nicely to Terragen so that was a nice surprise.
Didn't do any color or model variations for the trees nor foam, so that's on the agenda for whatever project I end up doing next.
One thing though is that I am using the frontier build and for some reason, Terragen was unable to render the full images, at some point it would just stop rendering (as in, cpu usage would go to 0 and the buckets would freeze but it was still in "rendering" mode) and the only way to keep it going was to pause and unpause the renders.
