Found this in my old files and felt he basic landscape had some merit. So I updated it with a new sky, some added displacements and vegetation from, Walli and some I made in Speedtree. Imay revisite it again in the future to created more of a narrative.

Stormlord

Well it looks very good, looks more like a final in my eyes!
The contrast between the white snow and the green is great, also the sky fits perfectly.

Nice! I agree with Stormlord.
The only thing I find a little out of place are the flock of birds. Almost dead center and too close to the top of the mountain for my taste. Also they might be spread out a little bit more, perhaps.

I agree with both, very cool terrain and render. Birds a bit away from the castle would indeed be nicer. And perhaps lower the camera so you have more water at bottom.

mhaze

I agree about the birds, I've always found them disturbing. I'll try a diffenent approach with a bird pop on an invisible plain. I' ll also try a lower angle again.

Dune

You can sit a population of birds an a loose PF (optionally hanging at end of line) with displacement of a few meters (height range of birds) and offset the mean altitude above ground.

Thanks Dune, never thought of that - you live and learn!

Impressive rock displacement ! Beautiful work !

Looks very nice! I love the sky, and the birds are way better now.
