Thanks for the insight. It might indeed be less work exporting a terrain and working on that, than going between programs and fitting. Luckily in this case it was pretty quick, as you don't really see the TG ground behind the planks (and it might even be somewhat caved in). But I have to keep that in mind for the future. One advantage of my location is that the Netherlands are pretty flat
The people I use (DAZ basic, btw) are often 'generic' characters made earlier, so I place them where I need them at that moment. In one case it was a bit cumbersome, when I had to move the boat (but that was a matter of subtracting and adding values for each person).
