Sky clip Imported - Horizontal /Vertical

I'm loving the new Sky update being able to upload a image into it. I've added a Dove outline.
I've created a few images that look pretty cool. Then I tried to import a clip in to Terragen. it imported ok.
i would like to know if i will be able to flip the cloud layer from a purely horizontal to more vertical when in terragen.
see images to see what i mean in Sky the clouds drawn seem more vertical. But when imported in to terragen they are more horizontal as they should be.
im trying to combine a Terragen landscape with a more vertical image of the cloud.

Is there anyway to flip 90 degrees or will there be in the future?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I don't believe there is a method to flip a cloud layer as you're describing.

To get the Terragen Sky project to match to the Terragen 4 project, be sure that you're viewing both projects with the same camera settings.  For example, if you've set up a Terragen project and know the camera's position, rotation and focal length, be sure to use those in Terragen Sky.  You can still view the Terragen Sky project from different viewports, but make sure the mask you're creating for the dove outline looks the way you want it to when viewed from the camera position used in Terragen.

When you export the clip file from Terragen Sky and import it into Terragen 4 everything should be precisely aligned.

I think you mean that the dove cloud in TG extends towards the horizon, lies 'flat' above the ground, and you want it perpendicular to the ground. In sky you should be able to watch and work on your painted cloud from another cameraview, and maybe move it the way you want. I'm not exactly sure how that works, but it should be possible.
But I think it's easier to work directly in Terragen; make a Photoshop mask, project it by a new camera (or the render camera) on a thick and high cloud in front of the render camera, and use a narrow simple shape perpendicular to the camera to clip the cloud to say 1000-1200m from the camera. If you use a second camera, you can move the projection around a bit as needed. Oh yeah, and in tweaks, uncheck taper top and base for a higher cloud.
