Ok..I downloaded Arbaro, But cant get it to open , Is it a Mac application ?
or does this plug-in to Pov Ray ?

Dan.

It's a Java application, you may need to install the Java runtime. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

POVRAY is an optional renderer that Arbaro can output to.

Arbaro can output to .obj files which can be directly imported into TGTP.

I haven't played with it a lot, but you may have to take it into your favourite 3D modeller to apply materials for trunk, branches and leaves.

Hope this helps

You can apply the textures directly in TG after it has been imported. If you want to use smooth normals then you will have to (I think) run it through something like PoseRay.  You have get 1 bark surface for each trunk level and 1 leaf surface

hmm.. another update to get (1.9.8 )
