Hi all

I've converted the OBJ file to a TGO with texture and displacement maps and dumped it on my site for all and sundary to do with what they will  ;D

It can be found at http://www.gintdev.co.uk/mr-miley/tgos.html Just go to the bottom of the page.

Thanks a lot to jcinbama for the original model, one of the better looking pines I've seen. Hope you don't mind me doing the convert.

Dan, if you're looking for a place to upload models you are willing to share (and that you are legally allowed to share) www.ashundar.com is a great place to do it.  Just register and account, make a post, and then upload the models you've got :).

The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

Oops, one thing I forgot to mention: we don't accept individual files that are bigger than 100MB.  Make sure to zip that model before you upload it.  Actually, it would be great to zip all models in order to save space and bandwidth on the servers :).
