Beta Release

Anybody heard anything about the status of the Beta Release? Matt said in His last announcement on Jan 4 : The length of the delay is uncertain, but should be no more than a few weeks. It will soon be a couple Months.

I think Planetside has given up, by lessons learned, giving exact (or probably even approximate) dates of release.  This is what Oshyan communicated within the last month or so.  It makes sense, seeing so many things are on the line.  But, we can hope for a soon solid release.

I'm not really worried about it right now. I'm having a great time using what I've got. However, I think being able to see something (i.e. transparency) would go along way in settling down some people's annoyances.

I've stopped using TG 2 until the beta,

Due to
1: Need transperency
2: Need those speed updates
3: need multithreading!!!!

I'll be more than happy when the new version will come but as nvseal said, i am already happy to play with what we already have right now
but hey ! i need transparency too ^^

For me it's probably just the lack of ideas + lack of patience at the moment

(Got exams on aswell, so not really got the time)

When transparency comes out I wana start working on some nice Island Renders
