After creating a planet, what is the best way to put a colour on it?

That's a question that can be answered many ways. I'd suggest finding nvseal's tutorial on creating a planet. I don't remember the name, but I'll look around. You can do the same by using the search function.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

Easyest way is to use a powerfractal shader with large scale settings and custom colour settings (and perhaps displacement disabled).
Or you could just use a surface layer ofcourse.
Howgh!

Thanks for the advice. The Barren World Tutorial by nvseal looks good. I have printed a copy of it. Now to study and practice.
Thanks again, just what I was looking for.
