C&C welcome

Very interesting and well done. I think the salmon could do with a little more work but what intrigues me is how you got the water to "splash". I assume its an imported mesh but how did you make it in the first place? Realflow? or am I completely wrong ind its all photoshop painted on?
Keep up the good work.

It's all an illusion Richard! Just water roughness/reflection settings and lighting. I'll post the settings if you want?

Pretty good, Kevin.  Need foam...
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Version with foam being rendered at the moment. Different (better) POV as well.

Here's a different perspective on this topic.
C&C welcome.

I like the water action.  Two suggestions - Up your Soft Clip Effect to 1.5 to 2 (for the objects) and either up the quality of the foam or get an easier perspective for the foam.  The reasoning - this close doesn't look realistic, but not having tried this I don't know what you're up against.

Yeah, the quality can go a lot higher - it was only set to AA3, Detail .475, GI 1,1. to get an over night render (7hrs)
I'll change the POV and a few other things and re render.
What will the Soft clip changes do?
Thanks for you input.

I read where Matt spoke about this Soft Clip effect helping objects, even though he was talking about trees.  I'll see if I can find what he said and post it here.
