The only difference between the upper rendering, and the lower, is that smooth in compute terrain is marked in
the upper rendering.
Attached is the tgd from the lower rendering.

Depending on how you created those shapes, that's not necessarily a surprising result. Would you have expected something different, perhaps rounded tops instead of points?

I was hoping that the shadow error would vanish. I did'nt expect this.
Pure functional displacement.
Might be that the small scale displacement in the Perlin landscape shows up.
The reason that the distortion in the spires are exact the same, is that only one spire is generated
but rotatet 11 times.

So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
