Thanks, josh.  I'm not going to read the whole thing right now, but I might later.  What is the gist?  Is it that TG2 and Mojoworld are almost one and the same in end result?  World Machine 2 coming out could get interesting...as far as how these all work, together or not.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

I hadn't seen this product in awhile - http://www.pandromeda.com/products/mojoworldstandard.php  Funny how these look characteristically very similar.

So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

too bad that RDR is just looking like an ass-licking contest... only good crits like "oooooh" "awsoooome", "amaaaziiiing" and "!!!!!"
i even get warned by moderator for a comment that the guy didn't like (not even a critic)...
anyway, thanks for the link ^^

What scam is that?

Oh, you know, Jo - the one where you promise to deliver a stable, usable product on Jan 1 2008 and then screw all your paying customers.

Again.

Come one, everybody - we're taking bets. Let's start a pool. Pick the date on which PS will announce that the 'gold' release will happen in 2009.

No, 2010.

Would you believe... 2020?

jo

Harvey, you are so off my Christmas card list :-).

Regards,

Jo

Well, TG2 is atrociously late but MojoWorld is just Missing In Action... and take into account that TG is a two-man operation (in which even a flu can play havoc with the schedule) while Mojoworld is (was) developed by a firm and should have had a larger (and therefore more reliable) developer base.

Bye

P.S.: WorldMachine took more than 2 years to be developed and GeoControl 2 is still in development (both 1 man operations).

That game has made so many "Top Ten Vaporware Products of All Time" lists that I can't even keep track.  I think the universe will explode or something if it's actually ever released.

o_b, you're on the inside more than most of us, so do you think we're in danger of TG1.999999 becoming the all-time vaporware of terrain creation programs?
