Jimi Hendrix but that's because I just starting playing guitar again after ages. I listen to all sorts but the old blues stuff including Hendrix is where I always start from. That stuff is pure soul unlike todays music. I've spent years messing with audio software but nothing compares to playing a real instrument or listening to that kind of music. Computers aided music in many ways but also destroyed it. Going back to listen to old music now makes that radically apparent.

Digitally imported radio's "chillout" channel.  Seems to sound like the images we all make - most of the time.  The better stuff is earlier in the day.  The stuff in the evening can sometimes be too "zonal" (aka stuck in the same flavor for a while).
