Hi, New to teh Forums but used Terragen for a while now.  I registered Version 0.9.0.43 and ever since i put the key file in place, i haven't been able to render athmosphere or Sky elements in my Images. it just comes out Black. I have resized the sky in the cloudscape page as told to in the FAQ but no joy,  any idea what could be causing this, is there a setting that can stop the sky from rendering or something?

Thanks
Enk

This often happens when dealing with larger terrains. Do you have the same problem if you generate a 513x513 terrain and render that?

It is usually caused by the camera being higher than the sky dome that's used to render the clouds. The first thing to check is that your camera altitude is no higher than the cloud altitude. It usually needs to be quite a bit lower, in fact, due to the curvature that's applied to the sky dome. With larger terrains the camera is much more likely to end up higher than the clouds because of the larger altitudes (in terrain units) that come with larger terrains. The solution is to increase the cloud altitude.

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

ahh.. i see.. i tried it with 513 and it was working fine.. will try it on the bigger ones and raise the dome and see if that fixes the issue..

Thanks for that!
