The terrain is an old one I downloaded from Olivier Cousinou called "Wetcangmo". As far as I remember it's a Mojo terrain. I don't remember the link.
I hope you like it. No PW, only sharpened.

Yeah,... I like it :-)
Nice POV and scene.

I am not fan of the rocks in the 2nd plan, but the remainder is splendid! One would say really a photograph! Beautiful distribution of the trees, and good work on surfaces!

inkydigit

very nice shot...love the colours and lighting!

old_blaggard

Great detail in the textures and nice job with the sense of scale with the models.

Wow, I really like this - it has that matte image feel.

The foliage looks incredible.  The rock formations and water could use some work, but as everyone else stated, this is exceptional!   8)

I love the point of view and foliage.  Grand image.  Excellent terrain.  Wonderful.

Moodflow said it all for me...this is great work! Love the depth and scales you chose for the populations. The water and rockformations could indeed use some more attention but in the end it is still very nice work! :)

Agree with Martin, besides water the rest looks great for me. Beautiful render.

Here's a closeup render:

This is sweet work, Hannes.  Keep your vision full-speed ahead.

This is very detailed and looks phenomenal!  The distribution of trees is nearly flawless and the terrain is realistic and detailed.  The water is way too transparent in my opinion though.

Thanks a lot! I agree that the water is too transparent. Maybe I'm going to render another one, but it's going to take some time since it's a composite of nine single images (still no full version!!).

Youch!

I hate having to assemble them.  I still have to on occasion, even with a quad core PC.
