yeah i like them as well maybe because they are not alpha leaves just procedural painted maybe i should start doing more of them for terragen rather than real leaf textures?
and yeah about that rotation it was an error i had when i first started getting my trees into terragen but its fixed now (personally i think this image wouldn't have looked as good as it does now if the trees were upright!)
