how to make a surface in the link below ?
it looks real with its relief and embossed features.
can you help ?

heh. yeah I was tryin to figure this one out this afternoon. but instead I found a way to make canyons in the program by mistake(they dont look good tho is the prob'). lol!

it might well be based on a DEM of a real place.
Then you have probably a strata shader, some grass objects of some sort (probably not the built in ones) and distribution shaders to control the placement

Frank is probaubly right also it should just be sevral heightfeilds that have a ton of work or where made out side Terragen in anouther program like World Machine.

The easiest way to get those 'embossed features' to turn off the 'breakup only colour'-switch on the surface-layer-switch.
