Painted shader   ;D

I've been testing it for population distribution but decided to give it a try on clouds.

Ok I know it's a bit silly but...
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

Well I just fired up a render that always crashes between 4 and 8 hours into it.
Its been 1 hour, and its half way done.  No blips.  No window with 18 red marks!

THANK YOU !!!  Looking forward to taking this puppy out on the highway, and matting the pedal.

  -  seriously ... Thanks.   ;D

I forgot to upload this one. Rock population, blended by painted shader, shaded with water shader.

ooo neat! I'm working on painting the eye like weather pattern on gas giants (think Jupiter) I'll post it up when its done.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

There should, but TG can't do that without using insanely high GI settings (maybe impossible). It doesn't have a dedicated caustics renderer.

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

Thank you for this information! I stumbled upon this question while reading about raytracing / global illumination on Wikipedia - almost thought I got something wrong ;)
