I'm trying out the paint with population and got this weird render
. I'm using the Hillside Walnut I bought from Lightning's Flora Works. Thank you in advance for any help. John Morris

Check your object marker is at 0,0,0.
Looks like its been moved upwards a few meters, hence the offset shadows, but I think there may be something else going on here.

I zeroed out area center what I'm assuming object marker. No go. I have uploaded the .tgd. John Morris

Think I found your problem. Because you've altered the terrain in a certain way it has dropped in height but because of the way you've structured the node the compute terrain node isn't being used to attach each instance to the surface. Just trying out some different nodes... OK you needed to plug the base colours in the "sit on terrain" bit as you see in the image.
Figured out how to do clicky signatures
