Hi folks!  My wife is from Nepal and she took these shots on her last visit.  I immediately thought of this list when I first saw some of them.  I'm always curious to discover how, for example, nature seems to produce some very fractal looking features, which would seem to appear "fake" within the context of an art program, but somehow remain organic feeling in photographs.  Weird.  Hope they inspire!

Cheers!

Great shots of the Annapurna/Dhulaghiri range from Pokhara. I've tried but have been unsuccessful at creating those fluted lines you often see in steep snow lines on a Himalayan peak (example left ridge of Mt. Dhualagiri in the first image).

This topic is probably in the wrong section though.

p.s: I'm originally from Nepal as well.

Very nice Photographs.   :)   With the fluted lines i think this is probably the case where Terragen 2 needs more erosion filters at some point like long flows for one example.

Thanks for sharing the photos.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
