I thought I might just add that in the next release the Mac version does give .tgc files proper icons, however you can't open them by double clicking on them at this point. Double clicking should start TG2 if it isn't already running, but the file won't be loaded. This will probably be addressed at some point, but possibly isn't as straightforward to implement as loading .tgd files. Like Matt says, the way to do it is to use the "Insert clip file" item in the File menu.

I love your second picture, Moodflow. Ice and snow never looks convincing in most GC landscape renders but that picture does. Probably the best I've seen.
