TG2 free non-commercial edition quesiton?

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to make amazing images like this: http://tigaer.deviantart.com/art/Terragen-Astounding-15427059 with the non-commercial free edition of TG2? or do you need the full, deep edition?

I've just started learning TG2, and I must say: I'm very impressed!

You won't be able to render it that large, but you can definitely re-create that style with the right settings in the free version.

That was actually done with Terragen 0.9x and Apophysis was used for the sky (post work). The main difference between the free and commercial, registered versions of Terragen is render detail settings. You can make excellent scenes in the free version but you won't be able to render them to their best without registering.
