Bug? Loss of Terrain & Shaders

Has anyone had a problem like this?

I was working on a T2 project, and was adding a new Surface Layer Shader and suddenly the terrain and shaders seem to vanish from the preview and the left-hand side. They seem to still exist in the Node area, but don't render.

I had saved the project just before adding the extra Shader, so in theory should have been able to just close down and re-open an un corrupted project. I restarted my PC and opened the 'clean' saved project, but it was missing the data as well.

Is this a bug or have I done something really strange?

You'll notice nothing is connected to your Planet...no Terrain.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Yes... I just discovered that. OK... steep learning curve, and I'm just starting with the nodes etc. I think I may have deleted a shader and broken the 'chain'. I panicked a bit as I thought I had lost everything!

Thanks!!

LOL  I've done that...a few times.   :P

Have you tried the documentation setup by Oshyan?  It's a big help, since it goes over the basics quite well.  And then try Volker's terrain tutorial and maybe nvseal's tutorial about creating a planet.

This user guide is cool - http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?board=12.0;sort=subject
