In a relatively short space of time since Terragen 2 went 1.0, Vue released an upgrade that finally let's users create spherical landscapes, and spherical cloudscapes, not to mention a few other features that seem to be very similar to what TG2 have. After all this time, they have only just released features that makes photorealistic scenes look that much better. Keep up the great work Planetside, and make sure you keep those other players on their toes. Healthy competition breeds innovation.

Here's some thing too bit into! Plannetside, become industry leaders in the digital terrain space and buy EON Software (As A Body Cooperate at that time EON Software would cease to exist), their intellectual property and employ their development team, and asset strip VUE and incorporate its best features in Terragen.

So in future you could see some thing like: "Coming soon the best of Vue...In Terragen (Insert Terragen version number here).  ;D

Regards to you.

They made a fuss about spherical this and spherical that, but it is just a question of doing some appropriate mappings between R3 and R2 (i.e. the stuff geographers handle every day). The core requirement, volumetric shading, was already there.

Bye!!!
