@Oshyan, by the way, I consider it a wonderful thing Planetside is not selling out to Autodesk.  Re-e-e-ealy g-o-o-o-od.

why does everyone always go on about autodesk whats wrong with them?
From my dealings with them they have been excellent, I bought sketchbook pro last week and its one of the best programs i have ever used, People seem to hate autodesk for being successful, also once you get your head around 3ds max it beats any other software in the line up hands down.

I don't hate Autodesk.

The more I'm around conglomerations of companies that own it all, the more I believe there should be laws against such practices.  For example, let's say Autodesk bought C4D, Modo and (I almost included XSI) Silo.  Tell me how much would all of those products cost now and would their quality suffer?  My answer would be that the prices would be more expensive and that the quality would suffer.  It's the name of the game on this planet - being gluttonous causes heart disease.
